Ascella Log Monitor Plus
is a utility which follows alerts and warnings recorded in the Application, Security, System
and other Windows© 2000/Server 2003/XP event logs. It dispatches the notifications about events via LAN,
email, SMS and ICQ (via e-mail gates).
Ascella Log Monitor Plus
supports events filtering by log type (Application, Security, System, etc.),
type of event (Error, Warning, Information, etc.), selection by EVENTID,
SOURCE, CATEGORY.
It can execute external programs using the events data as command line parameters.
Works both as an executable application and Windows service so it is not necessary
user to logon.
Ascella Log Monitor Plus supports all types of
Windows event logs:
- Application log
- Security log
- System log
- File replication log
- DNS server log
- Directory log
Ascella Log Monitor Plus reports about matches by notification system. The
types of notifications are:
- Network pop-up messages compatible with Windows Messaging service
- Email notifications via any SMTP server
- SMS/Pager/ICQ address notifications (via email gates)
- Command script execution
Ascella Log Monitor Plus passes event parameters such as Event type, Event source, Event category,
Event description to all types of notification.
