Backup/Monitoring types are the way how Network File Monitor Professional (NFMP)
behaves if any changes take place in the Source.
It provides you with a lot of monitoring types. Let\'s see which
type is the best for your purposes.

- Full/Always
No monitoring is performed at all. This type doesn\'t require any source or destination. NFMP simply starts your task at scheduled time and performs actions you have selected: - another tasks start (Linked tasks),
- launch an external programs and OS command
- emails sending
- messages sending over LAN
- Incremental/Creating
As far as any new file(s) has appeared or existed file(s) has changed in the Source directory it will be replicated to Destinations (if selected) or you will be notified in some way. The Source location must be specified here. Destination location(s) (hosts or folders where the files would be replicated to) is not necessary to specify but it could be (in this case new/changed objects will be copied there). - Decremental/Deleting
This type tracks down the files deleted from the Source directory and deletes the same files (with the same names) from the selected Destination. - One-To-Many
This is a combination of Incremental and Decremental types. It transfers new/changed and deletes files into Destination location(s) if files appear/changed/removed in the Source. - One-To-One
This type of monitoring is the most powerful type of a real-time synchronization. There have to be the only one Destination location. There is also another distinctive feature of this type: there is no difference between Source and Destination (in such a case we call Source as "Source 1" and Destination as "Source 2"). - Differential
Compares Source with every item from the Destinations list. If file from Source does not equal the file with the same name in Destination Network File Monitor Professional replicates this file to this Destination.
So, if any changes occur in "Source 1" they are replicated to the "Source 2" and vice versa.
