When an event occurs, File Replication Monitor can initiate:
| • | execution of different functions, such as external programs or other tasks assigned to File Replication Monitor; |
| • | dispatching the pre-written messages via the local area network and send them by email. Use the Messages tab to enable this option. |
Conditional operation list
The actions included into the Target list are performed over every replicated file. The actions included into the Action list are performed after or before replication according the selected conditions.
For adding an action press the Add button and select one of the items. In the New Task Wizard mode press the appropriate button.
With Up and Down buttons you can change the order of the action.
For dispatching the message by email fill in the Subject field. Enter the text of the transmitted message into the Message text field. In these fields you can use the following macro commands:
| • | %DATE% - this line will be replaced with the current date. |
| • | %FILES% - this line will be replaced with the list of files participating in event. |
| • | %TASKNAME% - this line will be replaced with the name of the task. |
| • | %LOGMSG% - this line will be replaced with the text defining this task written in the log file. |
| • | %TIME% - this line will be replaced with the current time. |
If the Subject and/or Message text fields are blank the default values will be used. To enter the default values click Default button.
If you wish to edit or delete entry mark a line in the list and press the Edit button to edit it, or the Delete button to delete it.
You can change the order of execution by mark the line in the startup list and press the Up or Down buttons.
