File Replication Monitor is able to replicate only changed parts of a file instead of a full file copying. This allows to reduce replication time and save network traffic. To activate this option select Changed parts in the File in target field.

File replacement field
NOTE: this option must be used carefully. The target file has not be modified manually or by other software because in this case the replication could damage it.
Byte replication follows such rules:
| • | if a target file does not exist the partially changed file will be copied in full; |
| • | if a target file is longer than the source one the target file will be truncated; |
| • | File Replication Monitor scans source files for changes. So to save network traffic the source files and File Replication Monitor have to be located on the same computer; |
| • | if the source file is located on another computer or source type is FTP/HTTP File Replication Monitor will copy a source file to the computer where it is installed, determine if the file was changed and replicate the changed parts to the target file. |
NOTE: if source files are large the scanning of the file changes may take a lot of time.
