The task follows new data recording to computer event logs and executes actions specified in the Conditional Operations list. This task source requires Event Log Extension.

"Log type" - list of log files available on a computer. Mark one or more items to be under monitoring.

"Event type" - mark event types to be monitor.

"Parameter" - the event log record parameter to be followed up. There are a standard set of parameters:

"ANY"

"EVENTID"

"CATEGORY"

"SOURCE"

"Values" - a value of specified parameter. There could be several values placing each one per line.

Parameter and Values fields allow to specify a filter to react on only some kind of event log records. Would you like to be aware of all new event log records select ANY as a Parameter and leave Value field blank.

"Connect to a remote computer using account" - select a remote computer account the task should connect to from the list. You can add an account with the connection parameters for a new remote computer or edit the existing one in the account manager. To enter it press the button on the right side of the field.

"Log list" -  click the Refresh button to re-new the event log list of the computer.
