Before installing a new version of FTP Replication Monitor make sure that no copies of FTP Replication Monitor is running on your computer (stop FTP Replication Monitor service under Windows 2000/2003/2008/XP/7).

Note for users of previous versions of FTP Replication Monitor! - do not uninstall your existing copy of FTP Replication Monitor! - just install the new version over it. This will save effort and time.

1. To install the main module as a Windows service launch the FTP Replication Monitor Control Center, select FILE -> SETTINGS menu items and press Server Control button:

Fill the Start type, Logon as, Password fields and press Install service button.

Important! You will need system administrator permissions to install the Windows service.
Note: if the service user is not a member of the "Log as a service" user group you will probably need to re-enter the user password in the Service manager applet.

2. Also FTP Replication Monitor can work as executable application. To start the server module as the application select the following menu items: FILE -> SERVER CONTROL -> START AS APPLICATION in Control Center window:

To start FTP Replication Monitor main module from the command line type ftprm.exe /EXE.
