Extension allows to manage the FTP Replication Monitor remotely via a Web browser from any computer connected to Internet or LAN.
In order to install the Remote console extension you need to extract downloaded ZIP file to the FTP Replication Monitor's home folder. In the "%Home_folder%\Extensions" folder the "Remote console" folder should appear. Then restart both the FTP Replication Monitor Control center and server. Type File->Settings menu item and find the "Remote console" branch in the settings tree.
Remote Console Extension has the following parameters you can change:
Access - enable or disable access to remote console.
Http port - the port number through which the remote console can be accessed from a Web browser. It can be any port isn't in use on computer where the FTP Replication Monitor is installed. By default the port number is 18440.
Allowed connections - a number of users can work with the FTP Replication Monitor remotely simultaneously.
Passwords - password which provides access to remote console from a Web browser and prevents unauthorized access to the RCE (do not use blank spaces in passwords). The password for user name "Administrator" provides full control over FTP Replication Monitor. The access for user name "Guest" allows only to view the tasks activity. Note: use only alphanumeric characters (a...z A...Z 0...9) in the password.
After that you can access the Remote Console Extension from any browser inside your LAN. Simply type "http://your_computer_name:RCE_port" in the browser address bar. For example, http://my_server:18440.
To access the Remote Console Extension from Internet you may need to map your corporate firewall external port to the Remote Console Extension port/address.
