The path to files located on a local or network drive should start with the character assigned to this disk (for example, D:\Input, K:\). If the files are located on a remote computer, the path can be written using Universal Name Conversion (UNC), i.e. start with characters "\\" and the name of this computer (for example, "\\Server\Shared\").

Include subfolders - to follow changes not in the selected folder only but in the subfolders as well mark this check box. It is possible to specify a list of subfolders separated by ";" in the field below. To create the list click the icon at the end of the field. If all subfolder have to be included leave the field blank.

Include files - enter the names of the files separated by ";" into this field. It can be done manually, and it is also possible to use the dialog box to select the files. If the files are on an NTFS hard drive, you can preserve their permissions while copying, just mark the corresponding check box. However, please keep in mind, that for restoring permissions for copies of files you may need to acquire the rights of system administrator.

Skip file in use by other programs - at the moment of copying file it can be in use by some other program. It is possible to skip such file and copy it later, if this option is marked.

Skip folders without files - do not replicate a folder if it doesn't contain files. Please note: the include, exclude and extended filters specified for the files and folders affect this option. Also this option has more priority than Delete empty folders option (see below).

Copy file attribute - to preserve the "Hidden", "Read only" or "System" file attributes, mark this check box.

Reset Archive attribute - reset a file Archive attribute to indicate that the file was successfully replicated. This option can be used for compatibility with other software.

Content adjustment - mark this box to delete any extra files (which do not exist in the Source folder) from the Destination folder(s) and copy files which do not exist in the Destination folder(s) from Source folder  to the Destination ones, i.e. every Destination folder will be exactly the same as the Source. Content adjustment doesn't affect destination folders if the folder name is in the list of the excluded from replication source folders. Please note if the source and destination roots are different it is necessary to specify full path in the exclude folder list to avoid the destination folder removing.

Delete empty folders - if this box checked after a replication is done Network File Monitor Pro looks for empty folders (the folders with no files or subfolders inside) and deletes them. Please note: this option has less priority than Skip folders without files option (see above).

You can choose to keep deleting files in the system Recycle Bin or in an archive directory. Select appropriate item in the Move deleted files field and enter the path to the archive folder in the Backup folder field. This option is valid for Synchronize one-to-one monitoring mode (see Monitoring mode) and Content adjustment option.

Store paths - this option allows to store replicated files in the destination folders with no changes in paths or insert to the paths the last folder name from the source path. This way is useful if several different source folders are replicated to the same destination folder. For example:

SOURCE = C:\DOC;D:\DATA. DESTINATION = K:\BACKUP. If the option STORE PATHS = ADD START FOLDER NAME was selected the file from C:\DOC will be replicated to K:\BACKUP\DOC folder, the files from D:\DATA will be replicated to K:\BACKUP\DATA folder.

Connect to resource - you can specify connection to the remote folder with different user name. Mark this check box and resource server name, user name and user password in the appropriate fields.
